Meeting Schedule & Admission Fees

Regular meetings are usually held every 2nd Sunday of each month (except for the months of January and August) from 13:30-15:30 in the Fukuoka City Gender Equality Promotion Center AMIKAS, Building next to Nishitetsu Takamiya Station. Click here to see maps

1000 yen per person (including MC) – helps contribute to the funding of a very special guest speaker each year.  Volunteer presenters: 500 yen each.  Officers (President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer) are exempted from all regular meetings fees while Web Manager pays 500yen (eh?) No membership, annual fee or initiation fee is required !!!!

We have special workshops with a guest speaker once or twice a year.

We’ve had great guest speakers before like Setsuko Toyama, Richard Graham, Kathy Kampa, Masumi Koguchi, Mayuka Habbick, etc….

There will be no February meeting as there are a number of other teaching events which would otherwise clash with ACET’s anticipated meeting dates of February 1st or 8th. Furthermore, AMIKAS’s rooms are fully booked for the other Sundays in February.  However,  ETJ FUKUOKA welcomes ACET members to their special workshop on February 1st at Tenjin Center Building.  The workshop is from 1:30 to 4:00.  The topic will be TPR-S (Teaching Proficiency through Reading and Storytelling) with Melinda Kawahara from Kagoshima ETJ.
