Wow! Was the meeting an actual week ago? Where did this last week go?

The meeting turn out was pretty good, and we even had about two or three
new members! We are growing! The meeting started out with Craig’s funny
Chicken Dance. Perfect if you do any dances/presentations for kindergartens!
Then Akiko went over a few time telling activities–sorry Akiko, that most of
us had a hard time doing the activities! I guess most of us are not number
people! Then Yoko introduced some simple activities with great props! Love the
idea of using the bath foam mat in a large plastic bag for a tunnel!
Peter presented his Pete’s Cafe, a very entertaining way to teach kids the phrase
I would like ~~~~ for ordering at a restaurant (also a great spelling game!)

I brought some cookies and coffee which everyone seemed happy to partake
in! As long as I have appreciative members, I will continue to bake!!

Thanks again for all who came and take the time to check out the
regulars section when you have the chance! Our next meeting will
be on July 12th (Sun)! We won’t have a meeting in August but I am
thinking about an informal early dinner for those that have no major
plans for the holiday month!
